ESARDEF is a registered (Reg. No. 105/G.37/D14/VOL I/SAAJP) community base non-profiting organization in Cameroon, Sub Saharan Africa.
ESARDEF’s comprehensive approach, combining education, healthcare, environmental awareness, and livelihood support, sets it apart as a holistic and impactful organization dedicated to uplifting some of the most marginalized communities in Cameroon.

“Our mission is to empower underprivileged children, youth, and women by providing access to community education, preventive healthcare, sustainable environmental practices, and livelihood support. We aim to build a platform where everyone can thrive, fostering a vibrant, sustainable, and equitable community for all.”

ESARDEF IS FOR ALL

ESARDEF’s work focuses on four key areas: Community Education, Quality Healthcare, Environmental Sustainability, and Livelihood Support for vulnerable populations, particularly in hard-to-reach rainforest communities in Cameroon. The organization achieves its mission through diverse, holistic educational activities, including capacity building and infrastructure development in schools and communities, promoting sustainable lifestyles through both formal and informal education and training programs.

INTERLINKED OBJECTIVES

ESARDEF is therefore a tool for addressing interlinked objectives such as:

Foster literacy among disadvantaged children, youths, & women with formal and informal trainings, & also assist in the provision of basic rural infrastructures for community development.

Help communities maintain good health, prevent disease & secure treatment by means of educative rural healthcare programs.

To increase awareness of the resources & fragility of the physical environment, the effects of human activity on the environment, climate change, environmental protection (conservation) & biodiversity.

Strengthen democratic & participatory systems; human rights education & the rule of law, promote cultural heritage, peace education & social security

Our human rights and good governance activities aims at strengthening democratic & participatory systems; via activities like human rights education, Sexual Reproductive Health Rights (SRHR), Gender Base Violence (GBV), campaigning for all girls’ education rights, training community peace builders as well as promoting cultural heritage, and social security.
